Generation Z’s Hidden Social Media Rule Book
I wrote my undergraduate thesis for the School of Journalism and Communication Honors Program. (Can I get a “whoop whoop” for sleepless nights?) My research explored how Generation Z’s expectations for each other on social media impact their relationships and overall well-being. I presented my thesis at the University of Oregon’s Undergraduate Research Symposium in April 2019. The study that I conducted can be found in the University of Oregon’s library database.
Here is a blog post that I wrote for my strategic social media class about my topic. And here is the entire thesis in all its 55-page glory.
Below is my thesis defense presentation:

Bottom of the page fun fact #15: I try and limit my time on social media to 15 minutes a day. Emphasis on the “try”.
