No Boundaries

Task: IgG4-RD is an insidious rare disease that can attack almost any organ in the body, often mimicking better-known conditions like lupus or cancer. Consequently, doctors have a hard time diagnosing IgG4-RD, which can leave patients vulnerable to prolonged suffering, unnecessary procedures or surgeries, and even permanent organ damage. The stakes are as high as they get. Our campaign must educate doctors on the systemic, deceptive nature of IgG4-RD so that they can recognize it in their patients.

Execution: “No Boundaries” is a disease state awareness campaign that depicts the endless combinations of ways IgG4-RD can manifest in the body. The visuals are grotesque, an amalgamation of impacted organs based on real-world patient data. The team has exciting plans up their sleeves for expanding the campaign into digital assets.

Result: The clients were over the moon with this concept, and it tested incredibly well in market research among rheumatologists and gastroenterologists. The primary artwork will be submitted for consideration to Lürzer's Archive, a prestigious bimonthly magazine that features exceptional advertisements from all over the world.

My role: My art partner and I pitched the “No Boundaries” idea during the initial internal concepting stage. We continued to fine-tune the ad lob with direction from our clients and creative directors up until it was passed off to the vendor to produce the final artwork.
